Field trip was alright, though nothing spectacular. Best part was keeping the teachers awake deep into the night at Jericho.
Oh, by the way, whoever decided to make the music player ban can shove it up their ass. Whoever dares to ban culture, media, freedom and ritual from me should expect it to provoke an aggressive response. If the staff expect me to endlessly listen to people talk about their relatively uninteresting and meaningless lives rather than music while I am trying to work, then they can go to hell.
I didn't invest over $300 and many, many hours of downloading for my iPod just so I could not use it. If the staff seriously thinks that listening to music doesn't help concentration (at the very least when it is an alternative to listening to other obnoxious people), then they should be mature enough to realise that their opinions are not necessarally fact and therefore not impose their bullshit onto us, the students. I should probably add that if it wasn't for us putting up with the staff, then the staff wouldn't have jobs right now.
And yes, I do agree that listening to music when you should be listening to the teacher is ignorant, but listening to music when you are working alone is our productive right.

Hey Matt,
While I respect your opinions expressed in your rant, I do not approve of the language that you have used. When you have made your post approriate for school, I will give you credit for it.
