Codeine: The Legal Opiate

I've been given medication before for a variety of things (surprisingly never for psychosis though), but this past week was the first time that I've been blessed with the godly tablets known as Tylenol 3. These things give me almost as big as high as weed does without turning me into a complete geek in the process. The only downside is that the "upper" effects only last like an hour compared to the "downer" effects (3-5 hours). I guess that's the price I have to pay to kill pain that no man should suffer. Ironically enough, I can't ingest any other drugs (such as alcohol or marijuana) because it could lead to an overdose of pain-killing drugs into my brain. I've been legally sober for about 10 days now, and I'm starting to recall the exact reason as to why I try to be as intoxicated as possible at all times...

Speaking of T3s, why is it so hard for the staff to figure out that I'm not being lazy or uncooperative; I'm sedated. Give me a friggin' break. Maybe there's a very important reason as to why I missed four school days, and if it wasn't for the fact that I intend to graduate this year, it would be at least seven as commanded by my team of socialist healthcare workers.
